HONG KONG: SFC Publishes Circular to Intermediaries on TIP and FAQ

On 26^th November 2021, the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) published circular that it has prepared a Technical Information Paper to provide technical details in relation to the OTCR submission portal, to which reporting under the OTCR will be made.

The SFC has also prepared the first edition of the Frequently Asked Questions about the HKIDR and OTCR (FAQ) to help market participants better understand the requirements and prepare for the implementation of the regimes to ensure compliance going forward. This FAQ may be updated and revised from time to time.
