On 23rd January 2024, Brasil Bolsa Balco S.A. (B3) announced that it will continue trading Ibovespa futures contracts and mini-contracts (IND and WIN, respectively) until 6:25 pm and commercial dollar futures contracts and mini-contracts (DOL and WDO) until 6:30 pm from March 11th.
This time is already practiced every year between November and March, when there is no daylight-saving time in the United States. The opening hours will also continue to be extended during the months of March to November, when derivatives linked to the Ibovespa usually end trading at 5:55 pm and those linked to the dollar at 6:00 pm.
