CHINA: CSRC Issues Four Financial Industry Standards

On 10^th February 2023, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) issued following four financial industry standards which came into force on the date of promulgation.

• Securities Company Over-the-counter Business Fund Service Interface
• Securities and Futures Industry Institution Internal Interface Account Management
• Securities and Futures Industry Institution Internal Interface Information Data
• Securities and Futures Industry Information System Penetration Test Guide

The financial industry standard of “Securities Company OTC Business Fund Service Interface” clarifies the business process and scenarios of securities companies to carry out OTC capital services, and defines the format, elements and interface forms of business messages, which is suitable for data exchange between the OTC fund settlement system of securities companies and settlement users.

The two financial industry standards, “Securities and Futures Institution Internal Interface  Account Management” and “Securities and Futures Industry Institution Internal Interface  Information Data” , respectively regulate the data interface of the institution’s internal account management business system and information data business system.

“Securities and Futures Industry Information System Penetration Testing Guide” financial industry standard provides a set of general information system penetration testing framework, which provides guarantee for testing quality and control of security risks in penetration testing planning, design, execution, results and risk management. operation guide.

The CSRC will continue to promote the construction of capital market informatization, focus on the formulation of basic standards, promote the development of standards in the fields of industry information exchange and information security, and continuously consolidate the foundation of scientific and technological supervision.
