On 9th October 2026, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) proposed revision to the Measures for the Operation and Management of Publicly Offered Securities Investment Funds.
The main revisions to these rules include:
- adhering to a problem-oriented approach, improving regulatory requirements for fund investment operations and strengthening the responsibilities of fund managers.
- supporting the development of equity funds, improving equity fund investment and operation arrangements, providing space for product innovation, and helping to attract more medium- and long-term capital.
- optimizing some regulatory indicators and mechanisms to improve the flexibility of fund operations.
