On 1st April 2025, Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) announced relevant work arrangements during the Qingming Festival are as follows:
There will be no night trading on the evening of April 3, 2025 (Thursday).
- Closed from April 4, 2025 (Friday) to April 6, 2025 (Sunday).
- On April 7, 2025 (Monday), all futures and options contracts will be subject to call auction from 08:55 to 09:00, and night trading will resume that evening.
Starting from the trading on April 7, 2025 (Monday), from the closing settlement of the first trading day without a one-sided market, the price limit range and trading margin ratio will be adjusted as follows:
- The price limit of alumina futures contracts was adjusted to 7%, the margin ratio for hedging transactions was adjusted to 8%, and the margin ratio for speculative transactions was adjusted to 9%;
- Other matters regarding the price limit range and trading margin ratio shall be implemented in accordance with the “Shanghai Futures Exchange Risk Control Management Measures”.
