On 20th November 2024, Eurex published a circular on Changes to the Exchange Rules, Trading Conditions and Contract Specifications of Eurex Deutschland.
This circular informs amendments to the:
- Exchange Rules of Eurex Deutschland (Exchange Rules) by means of the Eighteenth Amendment Ordinance
- Conditions for Trading at Eurex Deutschland (Trading Conditions) by means of the Thirtieth Amendment Ordinance and
- Contract Specifications for Futures and Options Contracts at Eurex Deutschland (Contract Specifications).
Amendments in the Exchange Rules
- 56 Exchange Rules – Removal of the ban on entering quotes, Cross Trades, Pre-Arranged Trades via Order Routing Systems
- 30 Exchange Rules – Editorial changes
Changes in the Trading Conditions
- Number 2.5 Trading Conditions – Consummation of Transactions in case of Combined Instruments
- Number 2.6 Paragraph 2 Trading Conditions – Abusive Entry of a Trade Request
- Number 2.9.5 Trading Conditions – Determination of the Mistrade Range for Options and Options Volatility Strategies
- Number 4.4 Trading Conditions – Transfer of TES periods to the Contract Specifications
- Number 4.9 Trading Conditions – prohibition of the identity of the beneficial owner in Off-book Transactions
The amendments came into effect on 25th November 2024.
