On 31st March 2025, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced that that the relevant FINI enhancement will be launched on 13th April 2025.
FINI (Fast Interface for New Issuance) is a digital platform through which IPO market participants and regulators can manage the end-to-end settlement process for new listings in Hong Kong. It modernises the IPO settlement process and will shorten the time gap between IPO pricing and trading, giving investors quicker access to new listings, reducing market risk and improving efficiency for all parties involved.

To facilitate the launch of FINI enhancement, the regular system maintenance end time on Sunday will be extended from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on 13 April 2025 (Sunday) and resumed normal thereafter.
