On 7th August 2025, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced that it has been working closely with the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Federation of Share Registrars Limited (FSR) to support operational readiness for the implementation of USM.
To facilitate Clearing Participants and Custodian Participants (CPs) in their preparation, updated and new CCASS Terminal User Guides are now available on the USM dedicated webpage on HKEX website. A list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) is also accessible and will be updated periodically.
In addition, a supplementary information paper is tentatively scheduled for release in late September 2025, followed by briefing sessions in Q4 2025.
