On 21st December 2021, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) announced members that:
1. There will not be any change in file format and nomenclature of existing files for T+2 settlement.
2. Settlement number series of T+1 settlement will start from 2122501 and depository market type will be as under:
· CDSL T+1 Market Type – 23
· NSDL T+1 Market Type – 41
3. The existing file format of clearing and settlement files of T+2 settlement will remain same for T+1 clearing and settlement files. However, the file nomenclature pertaining to T+1 settlement files will have corresponding settlement number as per T+1 series.
4. File format of CC Scrip Master file Scrip_CC_ddmmyyy.txt is attached as Annexure 1.
Settlement cycle shall be indicated in three separate columns viz. BSE Settlement Cycle, NSE Settlement Cycle, MSE Settlement Cycle against each security. The value shall be kept blank in respective exchange column, if the security is not present in that exchange.
5. There will separate auction session for shortages of T+1. There will be no change in Auction market type in depositories.
6. There will be separate give-up / take-up (6A7A) process for respective settlements. There will no change in file format of the same.
