On 9th October 2026, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) together with Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) planned to strengthen Indonesia’s capital market transparency reforms by enriching share ownership data with more detailed information and expanding the coverage of the High Shareholding Concentration (HSC) methodology.

With regard to share ownership of Listed Companies data, IDX and KSEI have expanded the existing data, which covers 39 investor classifications and types, to include additional information distinguishing between domestic and foreign ownership. This enhancement provides a more comprehensive overview of the shareholding structures of listed companies in the Indonesian capital market. The share ownership information has been consistently published by IDX and KSEI on the second day of each subsequent month through the IDX website.

In addition, IDX and KSEI have further refined the High Shareholding Concentration (HSC) methodology by expanding the coverage of shares subject to review. Previously, the HSC methodology applied the price impact ratio to shares with a market capitalization exceeding IDR 10 trillion. Under this enhancement, the review coverage has been expanded to include shares with a market capitalization exceeding IDR 5 trillion, using the price impact ratio. This broader coverage enables the monitoring of shareholding concentration across a wider universe of stocks, providing a more comprehensive picture of share ownership conditions in the Indonesian capital market.

IDX and KSEI are committed to continuously enhancing these initiatives to improve the quality and reliability of market data in line with global best practices and feedback from investors and global index providers. The availability of more complete and detailed information is expected to provide investors with a more accurate reference for making investment decisions, while further strengthening the trust, integrity, and credibility of Indonesia’s capital market.
