Trading in below stock markets were halted due to the triggering of circuit breaker on 09th March 2020. A trading curb, sometimes referred to as a circuit breaker, is a financial regulatory instrument that is in place to prevent stock market crashes from occurring. Circuit breakers have been modified to prevent both speculative gains and dramatic losses within a small-time frame.

Circuit breakers were triggered in the following markets:

Brazil โ€“ B3 Exchange โ€“ all trading in equities segment was interrupted for 30 minutes.

Canada โ€“ TMX Group โ€“ IIROC, TSX, TSXV and TSX Alpha have been halted due to the triggering of a level 1 market-wide circuit breaker. Markets resumed trading at 09:50:00 EST

Croatia โ€“ Zagreb Stock Exchange โ€“ Share trading temporarily suspended for 30 minutes at 14:55:00 and resumed at 15:25:00 CET

United States โ€“ NYSE โ€“  Shortly after the market opened, the market-wide circuit breakers halted trading for 15 minutes and resumed trading at 09:49:00 EST
