On 21st July 2026, Nuam announced that with the launch of the new equity trading platform in Chile, it has completed the implementation of a common technology infrastructure across the capital markets of Chile, Colombia, and Peru.

The new infrastructure incorporates technologies developed in collaboration with strategic partners and enables the three markets operated by nuam to run on a common technology architecture for equity trading, strengthening processing capacity, operational continuity and market efficiency.

With Chile’s go-live, the implementation of this common technology infrastructure has now been completed across all three markets operated by nuam. It enables the Chilean, Colombian and Peruvian markets to operate on a common technology platform for equity trading.

This platform provides the technological foundation on which nuam will continue developing new capabilities and functionalities for its markets, expanding their technological capabilities and creating greater opportunities for investors, issuers, and intermediaries.

The completion of this technological milestone builds on other initiatives promoted by nuam to develop a regional market, including the harmonization of operating rules across Chile, Colombia, and Peru, as well as regional initiatives such as the MSCI nuam Regional Index.
