INTERNATIONAL: TAIFEX Negotiates with CME and Nasdaq on Product Cooperation

On 16^th March 2023, the Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) announced that it had negotiated with the two exchanges in the United States on index authorization, creating a new situation

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group (CME Group) and Nasdaq Exchange (Nasdaq) negotiated the authorization of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, hoping to introduce international cooperation products for the Taiwan market.

Nasdaq and CME on the authorization of the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Negotiations, the two exchanges have a positive attitude towards the index authorization case, and the launch of the New Taiwan Dollar calculation by the Futures Exchange Prices for the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index futures were optimistic.

The futures exchange will cooperate with the second exchange this time, which is expected to add more value to my country’s futures market.
