JAMAICA: JSE Signs License Agreement with GRADA

On 15 March 2019, the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) signed a License Agreement with Global Risk and Data Authority (GRADA) to provide an integrated electronic platform for ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering. The platform uses decision tree intelligence to determine the regulatory journey of the client including all regulations, KYC questionnaires, classifications and risk assessments that need to be adhered to and carried out. Additionally, it determines all of the clients and counterparty documentation and data that are required to support the KYC and regulatory obligations.
