On 23rd February 2022, the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) announced that the Market was been halted for 30 minutes due to the S&P SL20 index dropping over 5% from the previous close, as set out in SEC Directive dated 30th April 2020. The halt lifted at 11.47 A.M
Later on, the same day, the Market announced that it had been halted again for 30 minutes due to the S&P SL20 index dropping over 7.5% from the previous close, as set out in SEC Directive dated 30th April 2020. The halt lifted at 12:43 PM.
