TAIWAN: TPEX Announces Amendment to Taipei Exchange Rules

On 21^st March 2023, Market the Taipei Exchange (TPEX) announced amendments to the Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Securities for Trading on the TPEx and Foreign Securities for Trading on the TPEx.

In order to enhance the examination in related party transactions of issuing companies applying for TPEx mainboard listing and amended “Standards for Determining Unsuitability for TPEx Listing of the Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Securities for Trading on the TPEx” and “Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Foreign Securities for Trading on the TPEx”, which shall be implemented from 1^st January 2024. TPEx also amended the application forms for TPEx mainboard listing and relevant documents, which takes effect on the date of promulgation.
