TAIWAN: TPEx Announces Amendments to Rules Governing Review of Securities for Trading

On 15^th January 2026, Taipei Exchange (TPEx) has announced amendments to the “Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Securities for Trading on the TPEx” and 19 other relevant regulations and documents.

In alignment with the competent authority’s “Asia Innovation Capital” enhancement and supporting measures, practical requirements for TPEx listing applications, the transition to paperless financial report filing, and the renaming of the Corporate Governance Evaluation to the ESG Evaluation, twenty (20) regulations and related documents have been amended.

Regarding the effective dates of the amendments to these regulations and documents:

• The amendments to the TPEx listing review regulations and related documents shall apply to applications submitted starting from 2026;
• The amendments regarding the paperless filing of financial reports shall take effect from the announcement and filing of the Q1 2026 financial reports.
• All other amendments shall take effect from the date of announcement.
