On 26th August 2024, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) have stepped up cooperation in deterring crimes related to securities trading. This is a fundamental offense under the Law on the Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering in order to break the cycle of economic crimes, especially crimes related to securities trading, and to support law enforcement and cooperation of each agency more effectively. This will help strengthen confidence in the Thai capital market for investors.
