THAILAND: SEC and SET Public Hearing on Draft Regulations for SMEs Funding via Public Offering and Listing on SMEs Board

On 14^th July 2021, The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) published the proposed regulations for facilitating fund raising of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups and Additionally, they also discussed the establishment of a secondary market for trading SMEs shares or “SME Board” to increase funding channels in the capital market for SMEs and start-ups to access as deemed appropriate and according to their needs.
