UNITED KINGDOM: New Index Launch for FTSE Russell

The FTSE Russel recently announced the creation of the FTSE UK 100 ESG Select Index.. The new index will measure the performance of the top 100 organisations who demonstrate resolute Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices within the FTSE Index, and will offer investors the opportunity to incorporate ESG objectives into their investments.

The index was established following a growing demand for investors to incorporate sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into their investment policies.
