On 11th August 2025, the State Securities Commission (SSC) has intensified its supervisory, inspection, and enforcement efforts, resolutely taking strict action against violations to ensure market integrity and stability; the SSC has directed stock exchanges, the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC), and securities companies to strengthen supervisory measures to ensure the safe and stable operation of the securities market.

The SSC requests stock exchanges to closely monitor transactions that display sharp price increases or decreases; When unusual trading activity is detected, exchanges must analyze and assess the situation, propose appropriate handling measures, and report to the SSC for action in accordance with regulations; The Vietnam Exchange (VNX) instructs the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HOSE) to coordinate with the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) and the VSDC to ensure the safe, stable, and uninterrupted operation of securities trading, clearing, and settlement activities.

The SSC instructs securities companies to strictly comply with legal regulations in their operations and the provision of securities services; Strengthen the management and supervision of employees and licensed practitioners to prevent violations of legal regulations or professional ethics, including solicitation or inviting individuals to join forums or groups for unauthorized investment advice; Companies should closely monitor the compliance of both individual and institutional clients with relevant regulations governing securities trading; Actively coordinate with stock exchanges, the VSDC, and the SSC in supervisory, inspection, and examination activities. If transactions appear to violate securities trading regulations, companies must promptly report them to the stock exchanges and the SSC for appropriate action.
