On 16th July 2026, Giełda Papierów Wartościowych (GPW) benchmark has launched the Corporate Bond Market Monitoring System, which is to increase the transparency of information on the activity on the non-treasury debt securities market. An element of the new service is the publication of two indices: the Warsaw Index of Public Debt Instruments and the Poland Corporate Bond Financials Index.

The Corporate Bond Market Monitoring System is published on a monthly basis and presents, m.in, daily values of indices, information on the composition of portfolios and selected market data on individual issues. As part of the project, GPW Benchmark has introduced two new benchmarks to its offer: the Warsaw Index of Public Debt Instruments (WIPID), which shows the situation on the market of public debt instruments listed on Catalyst, and the Poland Corporate Bond Financials Index (POLCBF), reflecting the market for corporate bonds and covered bonds of financial institutions. At the same time, the company announces further development of the family of non-treasury debt securities indices.

The input data to both indices come from the Catalyst market and from the data covering operations settled in the National Depository for Securities, and the details of the method are described respectively in the methods adopted by the administrator and made available on the website:

GPW Benchmark acts as a licensed administrator of benchmarks and prepares indices based on the appropriate standards set out in the BMR Regulation. Both indices are presented for use by financial market entities as benchmarks and are introduced to the GPW Benchmark offer.

Bearing in mind the potential of the non-treasury debt securities market and actions aimed at strengthening the fundamentals of the primary and secondary markets, GPW Benchmark assumes further intensive development of the family of non-treasury debt securities indices.
