RUSSIA: MOEX Updates the Methodology for Calculating Currency Fixings

Moscow Exchange (MOEX) announced that a new version of the methodology for calculating the fixings will come into force on 1^st June 2023, approved in accordance with the recommendations of the FX Market Committee.

The new version of the methodology provides for an increase in the calculation of fixings “US dollar – Russian ruble” (USDFIXME), “euro – Russian ruble” (EURFIXME), “euro – US dollar” (EURUSDFIXME), “Chinese yuan – Russian ruble” (CNYFIXME), “US dollar – Chinese yuan” (USDCNYFIXME), “Hong Kong dollar – Russian ruble” (HKDFIXME) and “Turkish lira – Russian ruble” (TRYFIXME) from five to 15 minutes. The indicators will be calculated from 12:15 to 12:30, at the moment they are calculated from 12:25 to 12:30.
